AIADMK leader VK Sasikala to be released today

Former will be released from jail today after four years.

In the corruption case, VK Sasikala was lodged in Parappana Aghar Jail in Bangalore, who is currently undergoing treatment after being infected by Corona.

After four years of imprisonment, Sasikala will finally get freedom from prison today.

Sasikala was considered close to the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

However, after the end of the sentence, Sasikala will remain in the hospital where she is undergoing treatment for corona virus.

Jail officials said that Sasikala will be released today, the formalities of her release will be completed in the hospital itself.

However, it is not yet clear when to discharge from Sasikala Hospital.

Sasikala was hit by a corona infection on January 20, after which she was admitted to the Boring Hospital in Bengaluru, but later she was shifted to Victoria Hospital.

She was tested for corona after having symptoms of corona, after which it was confirmed on Thursday that Sasikala was infected with the corona virus.
