Hyderabad Jan 09: Scores of youth congress workers organized a candle march in support of agitated framers in the old city of Hyderabad on Friday night.
Farmers have been protesting in the national capital for the last several weeks and demanding immediate withdrawal of controversial law approved in the parliament.
Youth Congress, City Congress and Pradesh Congress workers had gathered in front of Historical Charminar and organized candle march in support of Farmers.
They raised anti-BJP and PM Modi’s slogans and staged a protest against the central government seeking immediate roll back contentious law endorsed in the parliament.
“We have gathered here to express out solidarity and support for the protesting farmers in Delhi.
Youth congress workers from different places arrived here to draw attention towards farmers issues in the state and we want the PM Modi regime to come out with effective solutions of the problem being faced by the tens and thousand farmers,’’ Moosa Quadri, senior congress leader told Media.
Taking strong exception against the Chef Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and BJP president Bandi Sanjay Youth Congress leaders alleged that they had indirect tie and had nothing to do with Farmers problems.
“Youth Congress workers along with senior leaders have come here to express our solidarity with our farmers for their cause.
We want to give a message to the stubborn government our support and agitation will continue.
