Financially broke couple ends life in Hyderabad

On Tuesday morning, their bodies were found on the tracks near Bolaram railway station. On being alerted, the GRP of Secunderabad shifted the bodies to Gandhi Hospital mortuary.

Hyderabad: A couple died by suicide at the railway tracks in Bolaram in the city on Monday night.

According to the police, Y Kondaiah (55), a clerk at an Army establishment in Secunderabad, was living along with his wife Bhoolakshmi (50) and daughter who works as a police constable in Rachakonda at Netajinagar in Kapra.

On Monday, the couple went missing from their house and after making a search, their daughter made a complaint at Kushaiguda police station following which a case was booked.

On Tuesday morning, their bodies were found on the tracks near Bolaram railway station. On being alerted, the GRP of Secunderabad shifted the bodies to Gandhi Hospital mortuary.

The family members told the police that the couple was facing financial problems and slipped into depression over it and might have ended their lives.

A case was booked and the investigation is going on.
