‘Swagat Hai Aryan’, SRK’s Son Aryan Khan Is Finally Making Bollywood Debut With Web Series

After what was a highly testing year for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, his son Aryan Khan, and the rest of the family in 2021, it certainly looks like things are on the way up for the Khans.

As you already know, King Khan is making his Bollywood comeback with the upcoming spy-thriller film Pathan, which will also see Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

Fans have wanted to watch Shah Rukh return to the big screens for so long, having last seen him in Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

However, with Pathan reported to wrap up soon, we are almost destined to have Shah Rukh return to his glory.

One more positive for SRK’s diehard fans is that he is not the only one in the family making his presence felt in Bollywood, with his son Aryan Khan too, finally making his much-anticipated debut in the industry.

Yeah, that’s right!

After having spent a hellish few months in connection with the cruise ship drug case, Aryan, as per reports, would be welcoming some very good news in terms of his career.

Khan junior already made his public appearance alongside sister Suhana Khan during the IPL auctions recently, and it looks like that was just the start of things for him.

Good news, right?

Are we getting to see Shah Rukh and son Aryan on the big screens?

Well, not exactly.

According to reports, Aryan will not be making his debut as an actor just yet, but would actually be debuting as a writer.

As per reports, Aryan will be penning down stories for an OTT platform as well as a feature film.

Pinkvilla reports that Junior Khan is in talks with the OTT platform for a web series and also a feature film produced by Red Chillies.

It is also reported that the web series might actually be out this year itself if everything goes well.

Shah Rukh had previously already mentioned how Aryan was not really inclined towards acting and would rather choose to be involved in the creative process of writing.

Speaking to David Letterman in 2019, SRK said,

“Aryan doesn’t have what it takes to be an actor and he realizes that too but he’s a good writer. I think wanting to be an actor has to come from within. Something you really need to do and find a set of skill that helps you do it and learn it. But I think I realized it from him when he said that to me. He came to me and said, ‘I don’t think I want to act’,”

This coupled with daughter Suhana Khan’s debut in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix web series, means that Shah Rukh will probably have more things to be proud about this year.

I think he really, really deserves all of it.
