TMC MP Dinesh Trivedi resigned from Rajya Sabha

Mamta Banerjee has suffered another major setback before the West Bengal assembly elections. Senior TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Trivedi has resigned from the Rajya Sabha.

Dinesh Trivedi said that violence is happening in his state and they cannot speak anything here. Dinesh Trivedi is one of the main leader of TMC and has also been a Union Minister. In the present scenario , just a few months before the election, Dinesh Trivedi’s resignation from Rajya Sabha is a big blow for Mamata Banerjee. However, till now Dinesh Trivedi has not said anything about the future whether he will remain in TMC or hold the hand of some other party.

Dinesh Trivedi said, “I am thankful to my party who sent me here. Violence is happening in my state and I am not able to do anything for this, due to which I feel suffocated here. My soul tells me that if you can’t sit here and do nothing, then you should resign in any case, I will continue to work for the people of West Bengal even further.”
Dinesh Trivedi said, “Trinamool means basic, connected to the ground. With my resignation, there will be an opportunity for other ground worker to enter in the Rajya Sabha.”
