Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy announces lockdown relaxation in Andhra Pradesh

The positivity rate in Andhra Pradesh is 5.99 percent and the recovery rate has been reported to be 95.53 percent.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced relaxation in lockdown in the state.

The relaxation has been announced from June 21 to June 30 between 6 AM to 6 PM. Night curfew, however, will be enforced between 6 PM to 6 AM in the state.

East Godavari district, which still has a high positivity rate will have a relaxation from 6 AM to 2 PM.

The government offices will function on regular timings and all the employees are required to attend office.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to expedite the works of construction of the new 350-ton liquid oxygen manufacturing plant so that the state will attain self-sufficiency in the availability of medical oxygen.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also suggested that the Oxygen generated from this plant can be used for industrial purposes in case not required for medical purposes.
