The total number of positive cases since inception in the country has increased to 2,14,91,598.
Under the vaccination campaign started on 16th January 2021 in India, 16,49,73,058 people have been vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine. At the same time, 23,70,298 people has been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
This is the second successive day when more than 4 lakh cases have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. Earlier last week, the country had seen more than 4 lakh cases for the first time, which broke all serious records.
