Indian army has deployed K-9 Howitzer cannon in Ladakh.

Although the ongoing tensions between India and China are easing and the two countries have agreed to remove the deployment of the army at some points.

The Indian Army does not want to let any shortage in its preparations . This is the reason why the army has deployed a K-9 Howitzer cannon in Ladakh with the firepower to destroy the enemy by defeating the plans.

Indian Army Chief General MM Narwane incorporated the last cannon into the 100 K-9 Vajra Howitzer fleet. Three of these howitzer cannons have been deployed in the high mountain areas of Ladakh.

Three K-9 Vajra Howitzer cannons were brought to Leh on Wednesday. They are being sent to the higher Himalayan region of Ladakh. The government’s highly placed source said that these cannons will be tested here to see how effective they are in defeating the enemy in the world’s highest battleground.

Based on their performance, the Indian Army will consider ordering two to three additional regiments of howitzers for operations on the mountains.

The army chief is monitoring the howitzers built at Larsen & Toubro’s unit at Hazira near Surat in Gujarat. The Indian Army placed an order for 100 cannons from a South Korean firm. After which these cannons are being included in different regiments.
