When the patients raised an alarm, he ran to the emergency ward. When he was trying to scale the boundary wall, the hospital staff caught him and handed him over to the police to save him from the wrath of angry patients.

The driver works for a female doctor posted at a community health centre. On September 8, the driver dropped the doctor at the hospital and entered the female ward.

WAS ALSO WEARING FEMALE UNDERGARMENTS

Sources said the man was also wearing female undergarments. Police officer Arun Kumar Singh said the man’s parents said he was mentally unsound.

WHY DID HE DO THAT?

The accused said he wore a burqa because he wanted to go to the ladies’ toilet. Sources said he was already wearing a kurta and a salwar. The man denied that he was caught and handed over to the police. “I went to a police constable on my own,” the man said.
