OPPOSITION BROUGHT PROPOSAL TO REMOVE SPEAKER IN THE KERALA ASSEMBLY

The gold smuggling case is on fire in Kerala.
After several close associates of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan went to jail, the heat of the matter also reached in the assembly.
On Thursday, IUML party MLA M. Umer brought a proposal to remove Speaker P. Sreeramakrishnan in the Assembly. After this it was discussed in detail.
However, the proposal was later rejected.
The opposition alleges that speaker P. Sriramakrishnan also has a hand in the case related to gold smuggling.
In such a situation, they have no right to hold a constitutional post.
On Thursday, When there was a proposal to remove him , the only BJP MLA in Kerala, O.P. Rajagopal said that the speaker of any assembly is a role model.
Speaker is now accused of having links with smugglers, which is unfortunate. In this case, they should be removed.
