The district health officials have said that recently two big parties took place in the building, after which these cases have come to light. The apartment complex has been declared as a containment zone after so many corona cases were reported simultaneously.
Bengaluru Metropolitan Municipality Commissioner N Manjunath Prasad has said that 1052 people in the apartment were tested, out of which 103 people have been found corona infected and one person is hospitalized, the rest are in home isolation. Health officials are now tracing the addresses of the people who came in contact with them. BBMP officials have said that many of these people had joined in the party held held in the apartment. These people have been found infected at the SNN Lakeview Apartments in South Bengaluru. Recently, in a private nursing college in Bangalore, 40 students were found corona positive together.
