Farmers and policemen injured in violance during tractor march in Delhi

Violence has taken place at many places during the tractor parade of agitating farmers in the capital on Tuesday.

The farmers did not accept the fixed route made by the police and went to the different route entering the ITO and Red Fort. Some farmers also hoisted their flag on the Red Fort. After which the police fired tear gas shells and lathi-charged on the farmers.

Many farmers injured and one died during this violance.
Farmer leaders have announced to take out the parade on January 26, about a month ago. After the meeting of farmer leaders and Delhi Police three days ago, the route of the parade was also agreed but some organizations refused to accept it and entered inside Delhi.

When the police tried to stop them by force, it led to the confrontation.

On the violence in the tractor parade, the Delhi Police has said that for today’s tractor rally, the Delhi Police worked with the farmers as per the conditions and made necessary arrangements.

The Delhi Police showed considerable restraint till the end, but the agitators defied the conditions and started their march ahead of time and the agitators chose the path of violence and sabotage, in view of which the Delhi Police takes necessary steps with restraint to maintain law and order .

This movement has caused great damage to public property and many policemen have been injured.
18 policemen were also injured in the violence during the tractor Parade.

All the injured policemen have been admitted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital in Delhi of which a policeman has more injuries, his condition is stated to be critical.
