Farmers hold Chakka Jam in many parts of the country

Farmers are continuously agitating across the country against the three agricultural laws of the central government.

On Saturday,Farmers protested on National and State highways by jamming and demanding withdrawal of agricultural laws. The impact of this blockade by farmers was seen across the country.

In the view of the blockade in Delhi, tight security arrangements have been made. About 50 thousand security forces have been deployed in Delhi NCR. Delhi Police also detained people protesting at Shaheedi Park in support of farmers. In many other cities , people who came out in support of farmers were detained.

In Haryana, farmers were blocked in Palwal, Jind and other cities. At the same time, there was a traffic jam on the national highway near Shahjahanpur (Rajasthan-Haryana) border.

In Punjab, farmers are stuck in most places including Amritsar-Delhi National Highway. In Jammu and Kashmir, farmers have blocked the Jammu-Pathankot highway on the call of the chakka jam.

In Bengaluru, Mysore Bank Circle, Sadahalli Gate, Devanahalli Road, Yelahanka New Police Station Circle saw farmers gathering with green flags and stopping the free flow of traffic. The protest also saw the detention of some of the demonstrators as the police tried to clear the roads for traffic movement.

The Chakka Jam was less in the Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The reason for this is also because of the Bharatiya Kisan Union decided not to do blockade in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
