The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry released the figures on Wednesday, stating that 3,48,421 new cases of corona virus have been detected in the country during the last 24 hours, while 3,55,338 patients have recovered and returned to their homes. During this period 4,205 people have died due to corona virus in different states of the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of corona virus cases in the country has increased to 2,33,40,938 and the number of people recovering to 1,93,82,642 after getting new patients. So far, a total of 2,54,197 people have died due to Corona virus. However, a relief is that due to increase in the number of patients recovering, active cases have started to decrease in the country and currently there are 37,04,099 active cases in different states.
