Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill passed in Lok Sabha

Now,17 months later on Saturday, the Central Government introduced the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in the Lok Sabha, which is passed after discussion. The bill was already passed by the Modi government in the Rajya Sabha.

The Jammu and Kashmir Cadre Reorganization (Amendment) Bill 2021 gives a provision to make the officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS) and the Indian Forest Service (IFS) a part of the cadres of Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories .
Last month, the central government brought the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Ordinance, the bill will replace it. Although when the Bill was introduced in the House, the opposition parties raised questions on it, but it passed after discussion.
