PM MODI FLAGGED OFF 8 TRAINS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off 8 trains which connect the Statue of Unity(Kevadiya) to various parts of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off 8 trains which connect the Statue of Unity(Kevadiya) to various parts of the country.
The launch was done through video conferencing. Apart from this, PM Modi inaugurated various railway projects in Gujarat including Kevadia railway station.

These trains will connect Kevadia (Statue of Unity) to Hazrat Nizamuddin (Delhi), Rewa, Chennai, Varanasi, Dadar, Ahmedabad and Pratapnagar.

On this occasion, PM Modi said, “This is probably happening for the first time in the history of the railway when so many trains have been flagged off together from the same place for different corners of the country.”

PM Modi also said that the biggest benefit of this rail connectivity will not only be available to the tourists visiting the Statue of Unity but also it is going to change the lives of the tribal siblings.

This will create new employment and self-employment opportunities.
