PM Modi to hold a meeting with Governors and Lieutenants over Corona Virus cases in the Country.

The pace of Corona virus infection in the country is not stopping at the moment.

Cases of infection are increasing rapidly in several states of India including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and the country’s capital Delhi. The corona virus has worsened the situation so that people who lost their lives due to infection have to wait in the crematorium for the last rites. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet for the first time on Wednesday with all the Governors and Lieutenants on the situation of corona virus, amidst the ever increasing cases.


The meeting will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday and Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu will also take part in it. Significantly, new cases of corona virus found in April have also surpassed last year’s peak. Recently, on 8th April, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with the Chief Ministers of all the states and insisted that governors and lieutenants should also be involved in handling the situation of corona virus.
