Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the website of ‘Independence of Amrut Mahotsav’ in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Amrit Mahotsav begins today, 75 weeks before 15 August 2022 and will run till 15 August 2023.
PM Narendra Modi said, “this opportunity of 75 years of independence will be given to the present generation like a nectar. A nectar that will inspire us to live and do something for the country every moment.”
PM Modi said, “whether we Indians have lived in the country or abroad, we have proved ourselves with our hard work. We still say that we have eaten the salt of the country. This is not because salt is a very valuable thing. This is because salt is a symbol of labor and equality in us.
The people of India have always been proud of their constitution and democratic traditions. India, the mother of democracy, is still moving ahead by strengthening democracy.”
