Supreme court withdraws their recommendation of making Justice Pushpa Ganediwala as permanent judge of Bombay High Court

On January 20,The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended Justice Pushpa to be a permanent judge of the High Court, but now the recommendation has been withdrawn after two disputed rulings.

According to sources, a three-member collegium of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India SA Bobde recommended Justice Pushpa V Ganediwala as a permanent judge of the Bombay High Court, but both her decisions on POCSO Acts were fiercely disputed and faced severe criticism on social media, after this, the collegium has cancelled the proposal and now,Justice Ganediwala will work temporarily.
